I am looking to find some work from home jobs such as online surveys or something
Legitimate stuff though, I don’t want any scams/ads/viruses & all that crap
I need employment & money & need a legitimate steady income/job
(Online surveys, assembling items & shipping them back to the company, writing jobs, etc)
I sell items on EBay and on a local auction site. Most of my items comes from yards sales, flea markets, discount bins at local stores, etc. I sell larger items locally, less shipping charges etc. Most customers will gladly pick up the items. Sometimes I buy items from the local site just to sell on EBay. You can get the same type of information that some people offer for sale just by checking out the Ebay site for free!
Where can I find legitimate, scam free, work at home jobs such as online surveys, etc?

These days, it is common to hear people asking questions on how to differentiate a legitimate work at home jobs from the fake. With the high rate of internet scams, it has become necessary the general public be informed; articles directories are one good way to begin.
Below are some of the ways to identify or investigate an online business.
1. Yahoo & Better Business Bureau
Simply visit Yahoo and type the site or business in question. The result will tell you more about the business. If you can’t locate the online business or site on Yahoo then there is a big possibility that the opportunity isn’t genuine.
Another source you can use to verify a business is called the "Better Business Bureau". The BBB as often called is a body that house renowned legitimate internet business.
You can go to any of the search engine and type "Better Business Bureau" and proceed to check with the BBB if the said company is listed. Reputable online businesses often register their presence out there.
2. Money Back Guarantee
A legitimate internet business often provides a money back guarantee for its teeming clients. That way you have the opportunity of test riding the business for FREE while you decide to continue or quit. Always ensure that the duration is long enough for you to experiment.
3. Testimonials
Most good online businesses provides testimonial from its members. And these testimonials are from real people who have tested and enjoyed the business. Good companies often provide pictures as well as websites of these people.
There are still others ways you can use to determine the legitimacy of an online business. However, if the above are correctly implemented you wouldn’t have any troubles identifying legitimate work at home jobs at all.

You don’t.
You get up and walk/ride/fly to work like the rest of us.
There isn’t really a good source for what your asking. Most of the jobs advertised as "Work from home" are scams. There are exceptions to every rule, but they are few and far between.
Of the jobs you mention, only the writing job has any hope of working out. You would need to find a market for your writing and then become a "free lance" writer.

I had asked the same questions a few months ago. But I finally found 2 real websites that do that.
Search Pinecone research on yahoo and find an ad first then register and wait. You can’t refer anyone that’s not how it works. They pay $3 per survey. And sometimes send you products to test. I started in December and have tried 3 products and have gotten paid $24. They will send you check by mail at first and then if you decide you can add your paypal account and get paid faster. Usually the next day after the survey.
also American Consumer Opinion they real pay but you have to make at least $10 to request a cash out. They pay by check and paypal.
I know because I already received money from these two.
Also if you would like to earn things. You can sign up with swagbucks and earn points. I also started this in December and already redeemed two $5 amazon cards. you can sign up at
they links are below
I hope this helps…

Of the possibilities you mtntioned, I believe you have the best chance of making honest money writing articles to help supply the constant need for fresh Google pleasing content.
Home assembly, like the 50 year old envelop stuffing scam, is likely to end badly, these tough times have brought out the scammes like ants on an overturned sugar truck, and like ants they are everywhere. You can cut out most of the scammers if you refuse to pay a cent to obtain a job.
A career is not built from doing surveys, I have little hands on experience in this area, but logic suggests companies may not want to decide their based on the opinion of antonymous strangers on the internet. I know many so called surveys are designed to deliver your contact info to marketers who really don’t care about your opinion.
There are a number of freelance contractor marketplaces where skilled workers can pick up short term work, these sites include oDesk, allfreelance.com, getafreelancer.com and project4hire.com
Some with no technical skills have been able to learn some marketing internet skills which they used to create a business and grow beyond simple piecemeal article writing.
Here are some writer resources that should help you in your research.

Do various searches online for keywords such as home based virtual assistant, hire virtual assistant, hire data entry operator or clerk, outsource word processor, outsource data entry .,.. those types of terms should help you locate legitimate companies that hire independent contractors to work from their homes providing administrative type services. You should never have to pay for these types of opportunities … just as you wouldn’t pay to interview with or apply at a company for a job opening.
Hope this helps
