I’ve honestly applied everywhere I could think of. Everytime I’d apply and turn in my app they say they will call.. & oh im 17 btw.. I dont know what else to do
& i dont even know where to apply anymore.. I need to start somewhere & im scared i’ll never find a job
.. for the past 3 months i’ve applied over 30 places or so & no lucck what so ever. I dont know what am I doing wrong?.. UGHHHH! can someone give me some advise or things I can do different ?
Same problem. I dont know what to tell you, just keep looking. Maybe its a lack of job experience? Cause a lot of these people wont even think about if they dont see some background that really proves youre worth giving a position to
The best thing I could tell you is just ask a freind to that can help put in teh word for you, thats what Im doing. I applied and he told his manager about me, so I have an interview.

well here is the problem right now with the economy…everyone is having trouble finding a job (I’ve put out probably 400 applications in last three months and still unemployed). I work in middle management (call center manager/supervisor) and people I’m competing with our people that used to make more than me but they are having trouble finding work so apply for lower job than what they used to have…that means others that were previously a supervisor are now applying for lower jobs…it goes on and on until you find that people who are in their 30s and have ten or more years experience are now applying for jobs that only 17 year olds used to apply for…make sense? So yeah it’s tough out there but here are some tips I’d consider.
1) You should have several copies of a resume, since you might need to highlight different skills for different job postings.
2) If you have put out 50-100 resumes and not getting any calls, go ahead and consider re-writing your resume. I have my friends read mine and they give me input and stuff that helps.
3) keep plugging along…a lot of people are out of work right now so you’re competing with maybe 20, 30 or more people for every single job opening.
4) Network, your friends, parents, parents friends, church group, etc can all be good sources to find a job. Mention to everyone you can you’re looking for work…sometimes this is a GREAT way to find a new job.
Good luck, hope this helps!
