How does she get a job like this? By being hot, looking intelligent, and looking good in a business suit probably. Skills and education don’t matter much for some reason. People lie like you wouldn’t believe. Hiring managers make their decision once they put the face with the resume. They are suckers for company image. Most of them ask the questions to get it over with and you can easily tell if they are going to dismiss what you say right away. Makes me sick. Give people a chance.

Most people would consider your response negative but I know my friend that it is true. I have a brother and a friend who have golden resumes and know a bunch of people in the area they went to school for, have their master’s and have each been unemployed for close to a year now.
America has gotten rid of way too many jobs based on what you know. Now timing is everything and it’s all about who you know and who they know, and so on. The wrong people are being hired for certain jobs today.

I love how these women think it’s that easy to do what they are talking about. They are stating the obvious on what people already know. The problem is every year people don’t have a job or the later people wait to get the education they need or want, the competition grows larger. The more graduates + more layoffs + plus more jobs cuts = lower percentage chance of finding a decent job. I have a buddy who is 32 and works in teching/IT. He has been laid off 4 times in the last 6 years.
